Vessel removal near Huskisson Sea Pool

A large vessel washed ashore near the Huskisson Sea Pool in Voyager Park over the weekend.

Specialist contractors, working with Roads and Maritime Services, will begin crane-assisted removal works from 8:30am, Wednesday 21 January.

• Huskisson Sea Pool will be closed from 8am Wednesday, reopening 7am Friday 23 January

• The eastern end of Voyager Park, from the memorial to the Sea Pool, will be closed for the duration of the works
• The northern end of Shark Net Beach and rock platform will be closed for the duration of the works

• Works are expected to be completed by lunchtime Thursday

The area will be an active work zone with restricted access. Please follow all signage and directions from site personnel.
