Huskisson and Ulladulla Sea Pools are currently closed due to forecasts for large swells affecting water quality and safety. Council teams are preparing the facilities to minimise potential damage. Shoalhaven City Council advises that both the Ulladulla and Huskisson Sea Pools will be temporarily closed from Thursday 26 March to Sunday 29 March 2026 (inclusive).
The closure is a precautionary measure in response to forecasts of large ocean swells expected to impact the Shoalhaven coastline over the coming days. These conditions may affect water quality and safety, and the closure will also allow Council’s operational teams to prepare and secure the facilities to minimise potential damage.
Council aims to reopen both pools on Monday 30 March 2026, once conditions have settled. However, if significant damage or clean-up is required, reopening may be delayed. Updates will be provided as soon as further assessments are completed.
