Shoalhaven City Council wishes to remind patrons that Nowra Aquatic Park will close for the cooler months, with the final day of operation on Wednesday, 30 April 2025. The park will reopen on Monday, 1 September 2025 for the 2025/26 swim season.
This seasonal closure is part of Council’s broader strategy to support the long-term financial sustainability of its services, including Shoalhaven Swim | Sport | Fitness (SSSF) facilities. These changes were first outlined in August 2024, including revised operating hours and seasonal adjustments across several locations. You can read the full update here.
Current Nowra Aquatic Park members are encouraged to use their membership at the nearby Bomaderry Aquatic Centre. Members may also choose to temporarily pause their membership for the duration of the closure.
We thank our members and visitors for their understanding and continued support.
